Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 8, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PADE mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by The Future of Work ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using PADE, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at accounts@tfo.work.

Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Payments & Stripe

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. By accepting payments through PADE, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service at stripe.com/legal. We are not responsible for any fees, disputes, or issues arising from your Stripe account.

Fees

PADE may charge subscription or transaction fees as described in the app. We reserve the right to change our fees with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a fee change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including the PADE name, logo, GigSwitcher™, FourPay™, and all software — are owned by The Future of Work and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

User Content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into PADE (customer records, product listings, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use that data solely to operate and improve the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Future of Work shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Future of Work, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may cancel your account at any time through the app or by contacting us.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
